Was established by the Thai French Innovation Centre, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology North Bangkok. The Welding Institute of Thailand is an autonomous body for personnel certification on the follwing :
International Welding Engineer (IWE)
International Welding Technologist (IWT)
International Welding Specialist (IWS)
International Welding Practitioner (IWP)
International Welding Inspection Personnel (IWIP)
International Welder (IW)
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Magnetic Pariticle Testing (MT)
Penetrant Testing (PT)
Radiography Testing (RT)
The Institute is managed by the Welding Institute secretary General Welding and NDT Committee are responsible for certifying personnel in welding. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Committee, is responsible for recommending Non-destructive Testing for the committee are the representatives from the industrial sectors and other organization.
